I'm not a big fan of dating, and always thought I'd be in a great relationship with someone by now, however just hasn't occurred yet, I'm in a great one with myself and actually enjoy my own company! Things I like to do are many and diverse. I'm a girly girl, enjoy dressing up, I'm not a huge outdoors girl, but will put my best foot forward. My mom says I have what you would call is a "strong personality", well I would hope so... no shrinking violet here. I know what I like, and more importantly I know what I don't. I've become independent through necessity and am not afraid to change a tyre.
Anyhow, I'm hoping to find a partner, someone who looks at a relationship like a partnership and understands that reciprocity is how really successful relationships are built. Ebb and flow, ebb and flow.
I like to relax, watch tv and movies, read both fiction and non-fiction, love music (all types) and appreciate a good play, I love doing yoga, hot preferably, and I enjoy beautiful things (great design, food, art, wine and shoes (of course)). I have great friends, only a few though, your friend circle shrinks as you get older but that's okay. I have great style (so I'm told) it is definitely eclectic and not boring! I would love to share my life with a great man. One with style, sense of humor, takes care of themselves, someone who works hard is smart and literate, and appreciates that special one in their life, someone who pushes me when he has to, but doesn't push me around. Life really is great! Some days I feel tired.... been working on my place so it's coming along nicely.... hmmm now just to regrout that tile....
Regarding relationships, I've had a few important ones in life, but nothing that is just where you can just fall apart in your own back yard comfortable. I think you just sorta know.... anyhow it's about a series of compromises in the end. #1 you've got to be friends! Anyhow, all in time!
A great friend described me as a Vanity Fair Mag on the outside, and when you get to know me I'm Mad Magazine all the way on the inside... we laughed quite a bit on that one. - La mia idea di divertimento è Fun for me is anything from cooking to learning new things. I love hanging out with friends, going for dinners, staying in and watching a movie. I love simple pleasures as well as the complex. I find it fun to help people and see the lightbulbs go on in their heads! I enjoy discovering new things, whether its wine, places, or a great pair of scarps. Realized a long time ago, life is a great gift and every day is what you make it. Not all days are great, but everyday is a new journey and it's easier to enjoy the ride than complain, and certainly can be more fun with the right person beside you!
