Ein ideales erstes Date wäre to be suprised with something different. you can only be taken to the bar or club so many times, really. We could maybe start with a bite to eat, then catch a show at the theater or go see a game (hockey, football, baseball, basketball, you get it), and then maybe a few cocktails at a quiet place with great ambiance. But I wouldn't turn my nose up at anything that is at least different from the average dinner and a movie, or " lets go to the bar" i can do that myself.
