An Ideal First Date Would Be Drinks, dinner and conversation. The purpose of a 1st date is to see if you are compatible, not just in looks but in personality. Going to a movie, club or theater is not good because it is virtually impossible to engage in quality conversation there. Doing something outrageous eg flying to NYC for dinner ON A 1ST DATE is also not a good idea.The purpose of a first date is for each to show the other who they really are. Flying to NYC is not showing who you really are- unless what you really are is a showoff.
