An Ideal First Date Would Be Coffee, tea, wine, brunch, lunch, or dinner someplace pleasant, uncrowded, comfortable, beautiful, unrushed, with good food and service, perhaps with a view, and definitely quiet enough for conversation -- I'd want to be able to talk and get to know each other. Also perhaps a walk or short trip someplace interesting -- a park, scenic spot, a museum, antique shops, ballpark, concert -- a play or movie only if there is ample time before or after to look at each other and talk.
