I Would Describe Myself As I can honestly say that God has blessed my life in many ways up to this point and I owe a lot to Him. I have truly taken that “road less traveled”, and as Robert Frost says, it has definitely made a difference. I spent several years life traveling the world for work. Before that I was working on my education and degrees. Instead of getting married, having children, etc. before I was ready, I took a lot of time to focus on learning a lot more about myself and human behavior, while also growing in my faith and learning the importance of keeping Him first. You might describe me as a hopeful passionate romantic and a mixture of many things...old and new...northern and southern. I have a wide variety of interests and am not a man of few words...neither spoken nor on paper. However, I do have a shy side too My non-denominational Christian fellowship is also a very big part of my life. I believe what the Word says and that God knows the desires of my heart….knowing that eventually He will bring that person into my life. Feelings and intelligence are things I value. I do not smoke, drink or do drugs, but I do like to have fun. And...I do do dishes...lol. I have a successful career working as an instructor, consultant, project manager, etc. Currently I am also working on my doctoral degree. I have been up to the top of the Eiffel Tower…eaten pizza in Italy…watched the waves crash on the shore of Japan…and much more. My place near the beach is furnished and my refrigerator is covered in magnets the world over. I have had the pleasure of traveling to some beautiful places, met many members of our military, and made lots of friends. :) However, as Kenny Chesney says, there is one thing I have not done. I am interested in settling down and experiencing life with the woman God intends to be my "traveling partner". I desire to really have time to really get to know each other on a one-on-one basis and build a strong relationship with an underlying best friendship...

An Ideal First Date Would Be Talking would definitely be important...preferably it would be somewhere that allowed us to converse and really get to know each other. "Firsts" are important to me, so I would want it to be memorable regardless of what we did. I like the idea of making up the rules together as we go. It would be nice to be able to look back on that day years from now and remembering... Yes, I am sentimental...I also still believe in things like courtship and opening the door for a lady. The best first date is the one which stands out as "special" and "unforgettable"...with two people feeling intellectual and emotional chemistry.

I know that when the time is right He will bring my life together with the right lady. Part of me is more modern and another part of me is old fashioned. I am not the kind of man who just wants to rush and just be with "someone". What matters to me is being with the right one. After dating I would like to get married and continue to make important decisions together.
